Map Observations From Trailer Analysis

These are observations drawn from official trailers, screenshots, and postcard artwork — not leaked or unofficial material.

  • Biome variety is real. Official media shows urban Vice City, tropical keys, wetlands, ports, rural towns, and mountains within one map — a wider environmental range than GTA V’s city-and-desert split.
  • Elevation is confirmed. Mount Kalaga gives Leonida genuine verticality, a deliberate creative choice given that real Florida is flat.
  • Marine environments matter. The Keys and a working port point to expanded boat gameplay and maritime activity — reinforced by characters like Brian Heder, who lives on a marina boat.
  • Interiors are denser. Trailer footage shows fluid movement between streets and building interiors across multiple location types, a step up from GTA V’s largely facade-based city.

What’s Not Confirmed

  • The exact map dimensions (the ~2.5× GTA V figure is a reported estimate, not official).
  • The full list of neighborhoods within Vice City.
  • How regions connect (highways, waterways, fast travel).
  • Any region seen only in leaks, not official media — we do not track those here.
